My husband and I salvaged some wood that is used to support large construction materials during delivery. Most of it is solid oak, birch and beech but in very rough condition. Using a planer and belt sander, we worked the wood into a useable state and created this beautiful table. It is painted an antique white with van dyke brown glaze applied over the top. Here is a link to our blog post detailing the project.

We cut dado joints in the legs with our miter saw to create the support piece for the bottom shelf. Concrete nails from our local hardware store were added for detail.
