This string globe light isn’t a new project, they have been floating around the blogosphere for awhile now. But I like how BHG doesn’t overthink it, and uses it as a hanging lamp rather than having to replace an overhead light and hook it into the electrical system. All you need is some string, fabric stiffener, a ballon and a hanging lamp kit from Ikea or your hardware store. Instructions are here.
