Standard Fringe Blanket
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 1/2yd each 2 fleece prints or one print & one solid
- Rotary cutter, mat & ruler
- June Tailor® Shape Cut™ Slotted Ruler (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Layer fleece with the wrong sides together. Use the rotary cutter to trim and square up the layered fleece.
- Cut a 6" square from each corner of the fleece.
- Fringe: Make 6" deep cuts into fleece at 1" intervals all around the top and bottom layers. Option: Using the June Tailor® Shape Cut™ with the rotary cutter and mat makes cutting fringe easier.
- Knot fringes together around blanket, using 1 strand from the front and 1 strand from the back.
Braided Look Blanket
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 1/2yd each 2 fleece prints or one print & one solid
- Rotary cutter, mat & ruler
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
- Layer fleece with the wrong sides together. Use the rotary cutter to trim and square up the layered fleece.
- Cut a 2" square from each corner of the fleece.
- Cut fringe 1" wide and 2" deep.
- Cut a 1/2" slit about 1/2" in from edge of each strip.(top and bottom)
- Use one top and bottom strip, (starting point does not matter) and pull the next strip through the first.
- Working right to left, continue around blanket. No special instructions for corners, they just work into the pattern.
- When you have worked around to the beginning, take the remaining strip not worked and tie to last strip. Work in knot to hide.
Twisted Fringe Blanket
SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 1/2yd each 2 fleece prints or one print & one solid
- Rotary cutter, mat & ruler

- Cut a 5" square from each corner of the fleece.
- Fringe: Make 5" deep cuts into fleece at 1" to 1-1/2" intervals all around the top and bottom layers. Option: Using the June Tailor® Shape Cut™ with the rotary cutter and mat makes cutting fringe easier.
- Cut a scant 1" slit in the center at the top of each strip. (The end closest to main blanket)
- Take the top strip and insert it into the slit of the bottom strip. Pull this all the way through.
- Take the new top strip and pull it through the new bottom slit.
- Continue this with each strip around blanket.
