Easter Cross Decoration

Easter Cross Decoration

Here is a simple, inexpensive Easter decoration. In the past, I have made many at a time and we used them as centerpieces on the tables at church for our Easter sunrise service breakfast.

1. Glue smaller popsicle stick across a jumbo popsicle stick, about 1/3 of the way down.

2. Mold a ball of clay into a small mound like a tiny mountain. I used a ball of clay that was about the size of a golf ball.

3. Cut a strip of ribbon about 6 inches long. Cut small triangles out of each end to make the clean, pointed edges at the end.

4. Stick the cross into the mound of clay and mold the clay around the base of the cross so it is held in securely.

5. Drape the purple strip of ribbon around the cross and position it so it is how you want it.

6. Stick small flower blossoms in the mound of clay at the base of the cross.

This project is so kid-friendly. Make the materials available and allow your child to assemble them. They will love molding the clay and sticking the flowers in while you do the hot glue gun part of the project! Enjoy!
