When I was a child, St. Patrick’s Day always meant corned beef and cabbage with a walk through the backyard at my grandparent’s home, looking for shamrocks. The ground was covered with clover and my cousins and I would sit for what seemed like hours, picking through the tiny green leaves until we found a four-leaf clover.
So, I plan to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in a similar way with my children, but since our yard is without clover, we will have to make shamrocks crafts instead.
