Step 1: Mix two parts bleach with one part water in a bucket. Submerge pinecones in sol-ution for 24 hours. (Tip: Place a plate or another heavy object on top to keep them under water.) Rinse them in water and set outside to dry until they open up again. (This could take up to a week, depending on the weather.) Shortcut: Purchase bleached pinecones from A Chair in the Attic or Ashworths Art.
Step 3: Adhere end of longer ribbon to the pinecone base with hot glue. Tie the shorter ribbon into a bow; adhere to the base of the pinecone, as shown.
Step 4: Tie pinecones to chandelier arms. Trim excess ribbon.
